Look at your Device Manager, and select the option to review hidden devices. Mark O September 7, at pm. Richard May 4, at pm. Hi Michelle, unfortunately I had a message saying I was running low on disk space and I could remove older versions of installations to free it up – so I did. I did go looking for a later update at the realtek site but it is a little “arcane”. The BIOS version that you have RA0 is the OEM factory BIOS. Thanks for share such wonderful audio driver. Download Realtek HD Audio Drivers | Realtek drivers download

If your computer uses the AMD platform, skip this step. For computers with other audio drivers, skip this step. If the sound card driver is not installed on your computer, the computer will remind you to update the audio driver.

You can follow the onscreen instructions to perform this update. Once the audio driver is installed, restart your computer to complete the installation. Click Software Download , select Sound card , and download the latest sound card driver. Decompress the driver package, until the installation package exe is displayed. Double-click the driver installation package, and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation. I already checked all the windows sound settings, configuration panel sound settings, sound devices and sound drivers.

As said before, reinstalling the drivers doesn’t seem to help. But when I reverted my general sound driver back to an older version, the problem was gone! My current general sound driver is the “Realtek High Definition Audio” version 6. When I revert this one back to version 6. When I get back to the newest version, the problem is back. I think there is some kind of compatibility problems with the newest Windows 10 update and my current sound drivers.

With this post I would like to know if anyone else has this problem as well and if Microsoft is working on a fix for this. Or that it is just my PC and if there is a fix for it. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread.
